Day 2, The soundtrack

Woke up at the crack of dawn to this the reality that my relationship was over.  And just as I attempted to go back to sleep, the voice of a strong and beautiful black drag queen took over my sad thoughts and said: " Girl, you better get your ass up and hit the mountain... If you are gonna get dumped, at least you need to look good".  With that very thought and the vision of RuPaul watching over me, I got my ass up and in hiking gear in record breaking time.  Got into my car , Princess Prius and turned on my Ipod to Anastacia's "One Day In Your Life" which made me cry hysterically as I was singing the lyrics (see below).  Got that out of my system and hit the hill and once I got on top, I sat down on a rock overlooking the city I have called home for the past 16 years and as Anthony Kiedis so appriopriatly sings in Red Hot Chili Pepper's "Under The Bridge":

So together, the city and I cried... And just as I was drowning in my own mini pool of tears and drool, a sympathetic doggie licked my hands as if to say "It's going to be ok" which of course made me snap out the depressing film playing in my head where I was a poor orphan in Poland, post World War 2 destitute and hungry.   Rest of my soundtrack so far today includes:

Best advice/email of the day award goes to my friend Mark who so eloquenly said:
