Rollercoaster Of Love

Coming to term with the reality of my boyfriend-less life has its ups and downs.  I started the week feeling validated and inspired and as the weekend is upon us, I am starting to feel the void of together weekend plans and morning cuddles.  Just like working out conditions your muscles and leaves somewhat of a memory of moves practiced, I believe the things we do with our friends or loved ones feed the various cravings we have (i.e, craving for gossip is easily satisfied by speaking to some of my friends or grabbing the most recent copy of US Weekly) but also create habits hard to break.  Not the most scientific explanation but just how my mind functions... Friday night was our date night, Saturday, our errands day and Sunday was devoted to reading the paper, fresh brewed coffee and a search for the best eggs benedict in town.  How does one fill the void?  Luckily, I never have a chance to be bored.   Tomorrow I will be working on a casting tape for a reality show with my friend Ben then heading to Silverlake to visit my friend Robert who just came back from London, followed by my daily hike and a dinner with a potential investor for my software project (yes I am silicon valley dreams).  Never a dull moment indeed but not the same experience I have enjoyed these past 3 years.  Change is never easy but it comes and you have to get on the train, that simple.  Sunday, I will be attending my friend B's wedding shower, just in time as I feel my heart is hardening by the minute.  Speaking of weddings...One of my fav artist of all time (since I was 12 years old), George Michael, has covered Stevie Wonder’s romantic classic, “You and I” to celebrate The Royal Wedding of Prince William of Wales and Miss Catherine Middleton on April 29.  Click on player below to hear this beautiful song and check out the lyrics below.
